Tonight arching over the sky in acrobatical enjoyment the swifts returned. Their scymitter wings slice through the heavens - soaring - elated in the moment - living every second - never resting - the sleek sharks of the skies - piercing harbingers of summer - of life - of joy.
Forgive the flow of consciousness - my spirit rejoices in the return of the swifts!

Ah yes, annual returns of nature are always to be celebrated. Up here, i always rejoice when we see the first whales return. Next month we will start to look out for them and when I see my first of the year I will return to your poem and rejoice with you.

Are you somewhere like Alaska? How wonderful to await the return of the whales!
ReplyDeleteLol....nowhere so amazing! I live in Orkney and whales are great but only like the swifts are to you when they come every year. Normality is what it is to each individual.
